Everyday I hope that my life would catch up with them, but hope has only gotten me so far. I want to take action, but find myself hesitating. Why? What is holding me back? What is preventing me from sucess? The eyes, that's what. The judging eyes, weighing and measuring people with standards that are nearly impossible for any common man to reach. Because of everything, the war, the constant avoidable deaths, and small petty problems. Like school problems. Conflict's which lead to no where. Things that further tell me their is no hope for this, or any other humanity. Yes, their is always hope. I hope to one day find it. But until then death is the only solice to this pain.
Don't worry, your not prying. I am happy someone finally asks the questions everyone just leaves unanswered.

The war....I really rather not think of that. My father could be sent there any day and I don't want to see him go. School problems? I don't know what they are, but just by figuring them out step by step they can be solved. And many conflicts have no point, it's just the way things are. Like little kids fighting over a piece of candy when there's still another left. In the end, does it really matter? Find the things that do matter and focus only on that. Trust me, it makes it so much easier.
There may be no hope for humanity, but there is always hope for each individual. Hope that we may become one of those few that truely make a difference in raising the bar for everyone else. Hope that one person could truely change the fate of everyone. Yes, humanity has no hope. But I hope for just the dream that one day we might. And death is NOT the only solace. Find something you love to do and do it. That can be your escape right there. Take me, I would be just like that, saying death was the only way out, but then I found my writing. And once I got into it, everything was put into a better perspective. That, and I went on a trip with people that never judged me. We were all equal, and that made me hope again.

Confidence in yourself....that's a hard one. Try to find something you're good at first, and see how far you can get. By improving your confidence in one area, you can improve it in other aspects of your life as well....
